Orikio highlighted as a real-world use case at Denmark’s CareTech Conference

Orikio highlighted in Denmark at the CareTech Conference on Monitoring Technologies in Care Facilities
Ingeniøren, a Danish media outlet specialized in health technology and innovation, recently featured Orikio in an article dedicated to the deployment of our solution within the municipality of Vesthimmerlands Kommune in Denmark.
This follows the participation of Sigrid Willems at a CareTech conference focused on monitoring and support technologies for the healthcare and social care sector, where the municipality of Vesthimmerlands shared feedback on the pilot project carried out using our French intelligent acoustic monitoring solution.

A successful pilot project turned into a long-term deployment
Following a successful pilot phase conducted in 2025, the municipality decided to continue deploying Orikio across its care facilities.
Feedback from care teams particularly highlighted the solution’s ability to detect genuinely critical situations while reducing unnecessary interruptions for caregivers. The goal is to help professionals respond quickly when intervention is truly needed, without creating additional informational overload in their daily routines.
This project was also an opportunity for Orikio to adapt its solution to the specific requirements and expectations of the municipality. Certain contextual display features, such as indicators related to the resident’s sleep or activity, were disabled in the application.
This collaboration reflects our commitment to developing technological solutions that can integrate seamlessly into a wide range of care environments while respecting local regulations and the day-to-day needs of healthcare professionals.
An important recognition for Orikio
Seeing our approach presented at an international event dedicated to care technologies is a meaningful recognition of the work carried out alongside our partner care organizations and local authorities.
We are especially proud to see that the values driving our work — resident safety, caregiver support, and respect for privacy — resonate beyond French borders.
A sincere thank you to Ingeniøren and journalist Marianne Fajstrup for highlighting this initiative, as well as to Vesthimmerlands Kommune for their trust and for sharing their experience during the CareTech conference.
