Artificial intelligence, a revolution for health? Orikio in the spotlight in Le Mag de la Santé

On the show of Tuesday January 6, 2026 ofthe Health Mag, the Professor Antoine Tesnière, anesthesiologist-resuscitator and director of Paris Health Campus, was invited by Jimmy Mohamed for a discussion on artificial intelligence and its impacts in the field of health.
During the program, Professor Tesnière presented several AI innovations that are already operational in the medical sector, ranging from drug discovery to medical imaging, including support for general practitioner consultations.
It also highlighted the concept ofAmbient Intelligence with Orikio, a system he is familiar with, and is also present at PariSanté Campus, part of a dynamic ecosystem dedicated to innovation in healthcare.

Orikio is a smart listening system able to analyze sounds and detect specific noises, such as detecting falls, calls for help, vomiting, or whining, in order to trigger alerts to healthcare teams. Unlike traditional patient call systems, the resident or beneficiary at home does not have to take any action : the alert is triggered automatically, allowing intervention faster and more adapted, thanks to targeted and accurate detection.
This innovation contributes to a better care system, by supporting teams on a daily basis and by constituting a decision-making tool.
We thank Professor Antoine Tesnière for this highlighting as well as the teams of Health Mag.
