Orikio (ex OSO-AI)enters Denmark with the municipality of Vesthimmerland

We are very proud to announce our first appearance in the Danish press, on the occasion of the official launch of Orikio in Denmark. This deployment marks a new stage in our international development, with the municipality of Vesthimmerland as a pilot territory. In total, 40 units are deployed on three sites, EHPAD and Handicap.

Our solution is a discreet device that attaches to the wall and analyzes everyday sounds. Thanks to artificial intelligence, it analyzes these signals to recognize different situations (such as a fall, a call for help or even respiratory distress) and immediately sends an alert to the healthcare staff. A single box can cover several rooms, which makes it possible to limit the equipment installed and to provide a more human response adapted to the needs of residents. Apart from the few seconds of alert, the solution does not record sounds and thus preserves the privacy of residents.

This article, published in media Ingeniøren, highlights the simplicity and relevance of the approach: hearing to better protect. As the journalist explains, it only takes a few seconds of listening to understand that a person is breathing difficult or that a resident is in distress and to intervene in the best way. For caregivers, this means being able to act more quickly, while avoiding false alarms thanks to a fine contextualization of sounds.
