Orikio deploys its technology in Denmark

As part of the European ACE project, the Breton innovation centers Biotech Health Brittany and The Cowork'hit have identified the company from Brest Orikio (formerly OSO-AI) to test its innovative technology in Denmark.
Our sound AI solution was thus deployed to elderly and dependent people and people with disabilities in the municipality of Vesthimmerland.

Designed for increase the safety of residents, both in medico-social institutions and at home, the Orikio solution aims to secure residents, speed up the response times of caregivers while improving the quality of life at team work. This deployment is part of a first international experiment conducted as part of the ACE project.
“We are proud to collaborate with the municipality of Vesthimmerland as part of the ACE project. With this first deployment in Denmark, we are taking a new step internationally and confirm that intelligent acoustic monitoring allows benevolent, accurate and respectful surveillance, everywhere in the world.”,
Philippe Roguedas, director and co-founder of Orikio.
The European project ACE (Accelerating Care Ecosystems) is part of a context of increased ageing of the population in Europe, marked by a growing demand for home care and a shortage of health workers. Its objective: to accelerate innovation in healthcare ecosystems in the North Sea region.
Coordinated by the RISE Institute in Sweden, the ACE project brings together 13 partners from six countries, including the Breton innovation centers Biotech Santé Bretagne and the Cowork'hit (Lorient). They were the ones who identified Orikio, a pioneer in acoustic monitoring assisted by artificial intelligence, to test its technology in Denmark.
The solution is currently deployed on three pilot sites in the town of Vesthimmerland, serving elderly people, people with disabilities or living alone, illustrating the potential of Breton innovation in the service of European home care challenges.
